2nd grade with Mrs. Shields this week took a break from their projects to make some Heart Art. Students learned about muralist James Goldcrown and his heart murals. His "Love Walls" are so popular, Sketchers collaborated with him. One student found his name on her shoes! 💕











3rd grade has had fun designing Valentine's Day bags with Mrs. Shields in art this week!

Today we celebrated 100 day of school, as well as Travis and Taylor Tuesday for the Super Bowl spirit week. 87+13=100 (Kelce's jersey # and Taylor's favorite #)

Today is the 100th day of school! With this week being the week before the big game, Chiefs gear won out over 100 year old 8 year olds. To celebrate 100 you can add Kelce's # 87 with Taylor's favorite # 13 to get 100! 100 days with my awesome class!

These students earned a dance party at recess during Friday. The weather was beautiful and dancing made recess so much fun!









These students on Team Tierney were awarded the "Level Up" titles last week. Behind each student you can see the area that they leveled up in. M.V.C. award is for our classroom citizens who have shown integrity and leadership in class during the previous week.

Every student in Mrs. Keal's class reached their December and January reading goal. We celebrated with a class pizza party.



Mrs.Waun's sunshine student is Mischa! Mischa comes to school and works hard EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I'm so proud of all her growth this year!!


Kansas Day was celebrated by an impromptu singing of Happy Birthday to the state and decorating sunflower cookies while learning more about symbols of Kansas.
