To end the week, Mr. Pontious made biscuits and gravy for everyone. Everyone is appreciated in all they do for our students.

For Teacher Appreciation Week all staff got to enjoy an ice cream sundae.

During counseling class last week, Mrs. Keal's students had the opportunity to work together as a team during a game called the "pipeline challenge." They had to follow directions, communicate with their teammates, pay attention to details, and use critical thinking skills to move the ball from one side to the other side of the room along the pipeline without dropping or touching the ball.

Help us celebrate our teachers. As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we invite you to share the things you appreciate about our teachers in comments.

This Friday from 1-2 pm!!

With money raised through Pennies for Poems, Garfield second grade students visited the Cherry On Top , learned how ice cream is made and that they can grow up to open their own business. Then they got to eat ice cream. Pennies for Poems is 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, in Forest Park.

Students worked hard to earn their AR incentive. They had a blast at SOAR.

Second graders who met their AR goal jumped to their hearts content at SOAR today! We had lunch at Cunningham Park after.

Labette County Public Safety Kids Camp

To kick off Teacher Appreciation Week our awesome principal made lunch for everyone.

We all enjoyed our field trip to George Washington Carver. We loved being scientists like George and learning about his life.
