Friday was a super fun day that ended with 2 trips to the park! We hunted eggs filled with plastic coins to count. Later we went back to the park to celebrate a classmate's birthday.
On Friday, Tayleigh completed her Study Island math topics for 2nd grade and made it on 'The Island'. Both girls made it on the island this week and wanted to take a picture together. They cheered each other on the whole way!

Math today consisted of lots of practice counting money. They are getting good at this!

In science we have been learning about the states of matter. On Friday we experimented with combing a liquid and a solid to create a gas. Students had so much fun watching the baking soda and vinegar reaction.

On Friday this second grade class earned a trip to the park for recess. The day ended up a little chilly but it was beautiful when we got to the park.
