FACS 7 students are currently learning about sewing machines. We start sewing projects after Thanksgiving break!

A student in Mr. Hutley's keyboarding class was given a certificate for completing 1,868 keyboarding lessons in only 12 weeks of school. Throughout the process of completing all of these lessons, he averaged 85WPM with 92% accuracy! Great job, Logan!

PMS Leadership class worked with Care Cupboard today packing hygiene kits! 🧼 Care Cupboard is open on the third Saturday of the month to give free hygiene items to the community! 🧴The students worked efficiently and assembled about 150 bags. 💙💛

SparkWheel students join SSC Susan Hill and Dara Barr-Miller from the high school and middle school on a field trip to Coffeyville Community College's Columbus and Main campuses to learn about different trade and tech programs available to them locally.
6th graders sorted pieces of an informative essay to prepare to write their own.
SparkWheel's PMS SSC Susan Hill partnered with K-State University Ext. to provide a 2 day, after school "Babysitting Clinic" where students learned different skills, including safety and basic CPR /First Aid skills in order to provide a healthy and safe service. Students who participated in both days earned a certificate.
PMS SparkWheel SSC Susan Hill partnered with Alyssa from Safehouse Crisis Center of Pittsburg to provide students with a "Healthy Relationships" course that helped students understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy habits in relationships with others.
