
May 16th is the last day of the school year for 8th Grade, we will use that day to recognize achievements and celebrate the promotion to high school. Parents/guardians are welcomed to the Awards Assembly at 8:40am and then the Promotion Ceremony at 6:00pm that evening.


FYI: If a Tornado Warning is issued for Parsons this evening the storm shelters at Garfield and Guthridge will be open, the storm shelter at Lincoln will not be open. If a trusted neighbor in the Lincoln area is interested in volunteering to open the Lincoln storm shelter during future Tornado Warnings, please contact the district office next week.

6th Grade is planning to go to SOAR on May 8th as a reward for their efforts on the State Assessments and Fastbridge Testing.

8th graders enjoyed visiting the Scholastic Book Fair today! It's open at PMS through Monday, April 29th.





The Viking Coalition went to the Oklahoma Aquarium today and had such an amazing time!











Golf and Track competitions have both been cancelled for today due to weather. Track will not be rescheduled.

7th Grade is headed to Exploration Place in Wichita on May 6th!


Tennis finished up their season today with our #2 doubles placing first in the League Championship!
Our other players also played hard and received many compliments on their attitude and sportsmanship! We are so proud of these Vikings!!

Students in Mr. Hutley's multimedia class have been exploring Tinkercad and have really enjoyed it. They have been hard at work on designing and learning how to make 2D and 3D objects online to eventually see their creations come to life on the 3D printer!

2024-25 KSHSAA Sports Physicals are due to the Middle School office today, if your student plans on taking advantage of the service here at school coming the first week of May. This is at 'no out of pocket cost' to the parent/guardian. Just need to complete the small packet located in the health office and return it to school ASAP.

6th grade has been learning about composition, lines, and forms in art to create organic paper sculptures. these kids have taken it upon themselves to reach the ceiling. will they reach it?


It is not too late to submit Job Shadowing Permission Slips & Location Assignments.
Students will be allowed one full day out of school to shadow someone in a field that interests them. The date for job shadowing is this Friday, April 26th and must take place on that date. Experiencing a day of job shadowing, is intended to help students gain an understanding of the responsibilities associated with employment.
