
Students from Mr.Campmier's technology lab researched general shop safety rules then created posters based off of their findings.







Mrs. Shaffer's leadership class participated in their first "Traveling Tuesday" trip to Garfield school to mentor with Ms. Kaci Wright's class.











Members of both the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) presented a program on the U. S. Constitution in 8th grade Social Studies class.






On Tuesday, Mrs. Hill with SparkWheel held interviews for positions in the PMS Viking Store. Interested students had to fill out applications, collect 3 references from adults inside the building and then were given appointments throughout the day to be interviewed. They were all impressive, followed instructions and everyone got a letter of employment this morning. Life skills and responsibility in action!

Today Parsons Middle School sheltered in place in response to shots fired near 28th and Crawford. Staff reacted quickly and all students are safe. There is no threat at this time.

Our presidential election is just around the corner, and students in Sherry Woods Social Studies class worked Friday to complete a timeline of all U.S. presidents, placing all of them in correct order by date, from George Washington in 1789 to the present.




Students in Hope Smith's seventh grade social studies class worked on posters sharing information about the various regions in Kansas. This student focused on the Osage Cuestas
a region is characterized by a series of east-facing ridges, flat plains and rolling hills.
