
8th grade awards! Part 1











Summer 2025 Weekly Food Distribution Program (May 30th to August 11th)


6th and 8th Grade students will be cleaning out their lockers tomorrow afternoon. 7th Grade students will clean out their lockers Wednesday before lunch. The lost and found items remaining will be donated to St. Vincent's after dismissal on Thursday at noon.

For our last Viking Coalition of the year, we painted pots and planted flowers for Mother's Day. 🎨🪴🌸

6th graders wrapped up their Percy Jackson unit by presenting their awesome projects!











The last "Traveling Tuesday" of the year for our leadership class landed us in Mrs. Winder's kindergarten class. Today we used sidewalk chalk and worked on our art skills. Little kids, big kids, and adults enjoyed the afternoon.






Students MUST be present on May 21st for Awards, Promotion Practice, and Action 8 to participate in the Promotion Ceremony that evening. Gradebooks for 8th Grade Students are finalized on May 16th. The Awards Assembly for GPAs and Class Recognitions will be held at the MS Auditorium at 8:40 am on Wednesday, May 21st. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are welcome to attend, please sit in the back. Space will be reserved in the front center row for pictures during the assembly. At 9:30 am the audience will be dismissed, and the students will practice the promotion ceremony. At 10:30 am students will be transported to Forest Park for Action 8 Day. They will enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers in a picnic-style lunch. For dessert, they will have cupcakes and snow cones available. Students are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on, basketballs, soccer balls, frisbees, etc. Parents and guardians are welcome to begin picking the students up from the park as early as 2:00 pm, however parents are required to sign out their students. Finally, the Promotion will begin at 6:00 pm. Please dress semi-professionally (like we did for the Job Fair) no hats, face covers, or head covers. Doors will open at 5:50 pm. 8th-grade students will NOT be present at school on 5/22.
