Second grade has been working hard on their state assessments. Ms. Perez's and Ms. Moon's class ended the week with popsicles in the park to reward their amazing effort!
Students in second grade have been learning test taking skills and they took the reading state assessment this week. Mr. Medina made pancakes for his students to celebrate their hard work!
Our Arbor Day was a great success and we had a great time.
Everyone, in Mrs. Strode's class, completed mission one and is moving on to mission two. In mission two they have to solve 8 story problems.

Ms. Moon's class started our day showing some gratitude to our office rockstar, Ms. Bonnie. Each student shared with her what they appreciate about her. Thank you for your kindness and loving spirit.
Ms. Ryan drew for the Integrity Challenge winners this week. During counseling class, if your group demonstrates integrity throughout class, you get your name on the challenge board. Once it's full, Ms. Ryan spins for the winners. Thank you Briget from BetterLife Nutrition for donating the teas.
Today we started Missions to complete in math. The first mission is to create a shape with certain perimeters and then use tape and ruler to make their shape. They work in groups to complete them.
Last week, Mr. Medina's class had a little trivia game show to review different skills before our end of the year testing. The championship round was very intense. The blue team won the game!!
Jaws 2! Second grade is taking state test today, so the friendly shark came by to wish them luck!! "Take a bite out of that test!!"
