Viking Track traveled to Indy yesterday and had many of medalist. Trey Logan and Jason Smart took first place in their events, with Trey throwing a new PR in Javelin of 154-10 and Jason winning both 100 and 200M dashes. To finish off the throws, Demonta Kendrick finished 2nd in shot, with a new PR, and Braelyn Hinman-Mitchell placing third in Javelin. Viking jumpers were led by Makai Baugh who placed 2nd in both triple and long jump. Jason Smart and Saylah Rea jumped well, placing 3rd in their triple jump events. Viking runners had success with Colten Carson starting off the meet with a third place finish in the 3200. Nassir Hagood followed Smart in 100 with a 2nd place finish. Brelin Summers also placed 2nd in the 110 Hurdles and 3rd in the 300. Boys relay teams competed well, 4x1 took 2nd place and the 4x4 team ended the night with a third place finish. Overall, the boys team took 2nd place!
