AP Seminar students finished the year by reflecting and sharing survival tips for the coming year. The class has cultivated each student's ability to read, write, and research at a post-secondary level.



Congratulations to our SEK Track and Field League Champions!
Makai Baugh, senior, won long jump with a jump of 22-0, as well as triple jump, jumping 45-1!
Braelyn Hinman-Mitchell, junior, is the league champion in javelin! With a throw of 130-10.
Ayanna Robertson, freshman, was also a two event league champion, winning both long jump (16-11) and triple jump (45-1)!

Mikey Ramsey sets the new school record for career strikeouts with 146, and he is only a junior. He breaks the previous record of 145, set by Travis Martinez (92-95).

Great collaboration between CTE classes at Parsons High School! Marketing class designed the billboard, Graphic Design printed the banner, Viking Media took the picture, and Industrial Technology helped install the billboard!

Viking JV Track and Field finished their season strong yesterday at their home SEK League meet.
The lady throwers swept the field, with Daea Allen winning the javelin and Skyluer Burnett winning both shot put and discus.
Heidi Shultz took 1st place in both high jump and the 800m.
Lauren Forbes took 1st in the 400. Desirea Webb took 2nd place in the 100m hurdles.
The girls 4x1 also took 1st, consisting of Webb, Ava Reynolds, Shultz, and Forbes.
On the boys side, Jayshon Wooden won the discus, as well as placing third in the shot put.
The boy jumpers were successful as well, with Deshawn Pleasant winning both high and long jump and Isaac Mack coming in a close second in long.
Mario Zacarius swept the distance events, winning both the 1600 and 3200m run.
The hurdlers competed well! With Carson Riley winning the 110HH and Jaiden Seltmann taking 2nd. In the 300m hurdles, Seltmann took 2nd and Riley 3rd!
Kane Leon won the 200m dash and came in a close 2nd in the 100m. Finally, the 4x4 ended the night getting 2nd place!
