Parsons High School will be hosting their annual Sports Physical Outreach at the High School on May 2nd for all student athletes that complete and return the Sports Physical packet by April 23rd. There is no out-of-pocket cost for these physicals. Blank physical packets are available in the health office, and the main office.


It's been an exciting few weeks in Ms. Lucas' Public Speaking classes presenting speeches. From snakes to smoothie bowls, we have learned a lot!








Mrs. Quarton's LCC US History class spent time Friday touring the Historic Civil War memorial at Oakwood Cemetery to learn more about our local veterans.

Viking Track traveled to Columbus Tuesday and ended with a victory on the boys' side, with many good performances in the wind!
Field Events were led by Trey Logan in javelin and Jason Smart in triple jump, who both placed first. We had many second place finishes in field events with Braelyn Hinman-Mitchell in javelin, Brelin Summers in high jump, Kaden Blake in discus, and Nassir Hagood in long jump.
Runners and sprinters had a successful day, with Brelin Summers winning the 110 high hurdles and Jason Smart winning the 200. Smart also took 2nd in the 100M and Brelin 2nd in 300H with Camron Day right behind him in 3rd. AJ Wyatt took 3rd in the 100M as well as Colten Carson in the 3200M. Vikings Boys relays all were medal placers, with the 4x1 taking 2nd and 4x4 & 4x8 taking third. Coaches are proud of this group of kids! Go Vikes!
