
Parsons High School Prom 2025 was a huge success!
Wyatt Shultz and Laila Haviland were crowned Prom Prince and Princess!
Jose Mota and Kallisa Kelly were crowned Prom King and Queen!

Students and staff have worked the last two days laying the foundations for what will be the glitz and glamour of prom Saturday night. With the promise of good weather, walk-in will be outside this year and will begin at 7 p.m. on the east side of the high school.

USD 503 is hosting their annual Sports Physical Event on May 5th at the Middle School, and May 7th at the High School. There is no cost for these physicals. Consent Packets are available in the main office, and in the health office. Spots are limited, so make sure completed consents are returned no later that April 22nd!
It's important to note that physicals done BEFORE May 1st are only good for the remainder of the 24-25 school year. Physicals done May 1st or after are good for the entire 25-26 school year.

Today, Mr. Barr-Miller's business students visited Grandstand, a custom printing company in Lawrence, KS. It was a great experience to see the behind the scenes of how a business operates!







Seniors picked up their caps and gowns Wednesday morning, helping bring home the realization that graduation is just around the corner, being scheduled for May 11 at 2:30.

Varsity track traveled to Frontenac Tuesday. Makai Baugh placed first in the long jump, placed 2nd in both triple jump and the 400m dash.
Colten Carson placed first in the 1600m (new PR, 4:57) and 4th in the 3200m run.
Makayla Farrow-Getman placed 1st in the 400m dash.
Braelyn Hinman-Mitchell placed 1st in the girls javelin, while Trey Logan also placed first on the boys side.
Ayanna Robertson broke the school record in the girl’s long jump, 16’ 5.5’’, in her high school debut, placing 2nd in both long and triple jump. She also placed 4th in the high jump.
Jason Smart tied for first in the 100m dash, as well as 3rd in the 200m dash.
Brelin Summers had a day for us, shattering his own personal records and winning both triple jump (44’4”) and the 110m high hurdles (15.4). He also placed 3rd in the 300m hurdles.
Boys and Girls 4x100m Relays both took third place! They were run by Nassir Hagood, Tryston Ridgeway, Smart, Baugh, and the girls, AJ Wyatt, Farrow-Getman, Bailey Siu, and Robertson!



JV Track traveled to Pittsburg today and took first place in girls 300M hurdles as well as 2nd and 3rd place in boys 300M hurdles and 3rd place in 110M hurdles. Go Vikes!






Varsity Baseball drops their game tonight against Chanute. They will be back in action on Thursday at home against Caney.

Prom information for Saturday! Walk-in will start at 7:00 p.m. Students attending prom need to be at the school by 6:50 to line up. Walk-in will be outside on the east side of the auxiliary gym. The parking lot on the east side of the school will be reserved for students and staff attending prom. Prom will start immediately following walk-in. Please take all pictures with students prior to walk-in, once students are inside the school they will not be allowed to go back outside.


Jessica Ryan will be taking pictures at prom for students to be able to purchase! These are the packages she will be offering! Students may pick packet information up in the office this week or wait until the evening of prom!
