Draven:
The greatest influence in my life would have to be my grandparents. They took me in when I needed help and have guided me to where I am now and where I will be in the future.
After high school I plan on going to LCC to get my basics done then I am going to go to WSU to get a PhD in psychology.
Nayeli:
First of all let me just say MY class of 2020 is THE best one out there lol! We’re family, people just wouldn’t understand our relationship...we’ve been through hard times and good times together and they all just had their own personality. They all have a special place in my heart.
My plans after graduating high school are going to college and studying secondary education. I thank my teachers for helping me make that decision... easy A’s for my future students.
My number one goal in life still stands the same as it did 4 years ago… have lots and lots of money. Now, how am I going to do that on a teacher’s salary? The answer is... I have no idea. I’m still trying to figure that out.
Parsons High School is joining with districts across the nation for the Be The Light campaign. This is to celebrate the senior class of 2020 and spring sports athletes coaches and families. The lights of the Parsons high school baseball field, softball field, tennis courts, public pool, and track will go on at 8:20 PM for 20 minutes as a symbol we are thinking of them and we will eventually return to school and competition. We remind all persons to stay in their cars and as they drive by, honk to show their support. Go Vikes!

Holly:
What is your favorite memory of high school?
I have so many memories of high school. My favorite memories include everything. Going to every football and basketball game that I could, making new friends, continuing friendships that have been growing since kindergarten, laughing uncontrollably in the worst possible times, rushing to get procrastinated assignments done the class before and then somehow getting a decent grade on them, state track, making jokes, working backstage on PHS musicals, finding my love for running, simply growing and learning. The list goes on and on. I have learned so much throughout my time at Parsons High School and I am so thankful for it.
What are your plans after high school?
After High School, I will be attending Emporia State University to major in Physical Education. I also get to compete on the ESU track team.
Zeke:
What are you planning to do after high school?
After high school I plan to attend Kansas City Kansas Community College and play basketball for their men’s basketball team. I will study business management and then transfer to a four-year university to receive my degree. I plan on then going into a business management position at a large company afterwards.
What is your best memory of high school?
My best memory of high school is playing for the Parsons Viking basketball team for three seasons, winning three sub-state championships, three state tournament appearances, and countless other awards with my best friends, who are my teammates.

Ally:
What is your number one goal in life ?
My number one goal in life is to go to college and receive my degree in elementary education. I would like to be successful in my future teaching.
What is most memorable about you?
One thing that is most memorable about me is my humor and my personality. There is never a dull moment with me; there’s never a time where you won’t be laughing.
Croix:
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
My plan after high school is to go to Ottawa University and continue to play football and track and field at that level. I also plan to become an engineer. I don't know which one but I want to be an engineer.
What is your number one goal in life?
My number one goal in life is to be successful and be the best version of myself. I want to be able to help people and make this place better.

Megan:
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I plan on attending LCC to get my Associates in Chemistry. I then want to attend either Pittsburg State University or Wichita State University to get my Bachelors in Science. I want to try to get into medical school to pursue a career in the medical field.
What is your number one goal in life?
My number one goal in life is to be as successful as possible in whatever it is that I decide to do in the future. I know that I have the strength, determination, and ambition to be successful in any direction I choose in life.
What is your favorite memory of high school?
I have so many favorite memories, but one of my absolute favorites is from guitar class. Mr. Pommier would join our class occasionally and he truly helped me become a better guitarist. He had so many useful pointers that I used to better my skills. Another favorite memory is when I played the piano accompaniment for "Christmas Canon" at the Christmas concert. I absolutely loved getting to play that grand piano while the orchestra and choir were performing. All of the things I was able to do musically really brought me some happy and exciting moments throughout high school.
Baxter:
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I plan to go on a two year mission service
Who has been the greatest influence in your life? Why?
My mom, because she always pushed me to be my best in everything I do

It wasn't perfect, but we did get a lot of packets out to people that requested them. There is still some confusion, and that's totally okay. The packets are for those of you that aren't doing your learning online. We had some late requests and are working on that.
Mr. Barcus and Mr. Swanson will be here from 5:00-6:00 PM on TUESDAY evening to hopefully catch some more of you. Mrs. Hopper left some bags and we will also have laptops for those of you that indicated you need a device.
It was really good to see staff and students today, even if it was behind a mask or in a car. Let us know what we can do to help!

Alexis:
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I plan to pursue a major in Graphic Communications with an emphasis in Graphic Design at Pittsburg State University.
What was your greatest accomplishment during high school?
My greatest accomplishment during high school would definitely have to be my time management skills. I was able to finish in the top 10% in my class all while juggling college dual credit classes, working 25-30 hours a week, and being involved in various clubs/school activities.
What is your number one goal in life?
My number one goal in life is to set an example of how hard work pays off. I see myself to be a leader in whatever role I am assigned to. I want others to always give their 110% no matter how small or big the task may be.
Will:
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
If the plan goes accordingly, I’ll begin a career in music and attend college as I am ready. Meanwhile, I will continue to work on my family farm as we expand and thrive like never before.
What was your greatest accomplishment during high school?
During high school, I discovered a part of me that has changed the course of my life: my voice. My greatest accomplishment was finding my purpose in the beauty of music.
What is your number one goal in life?
I don’t know where life will take me or if my aspirations will change, but as of now, I strive to be an inspiration. Especially in times like these, people need someone or something to help them see the light at the end of the tunnel. That is what I want to be here for. My number one goal in life is to share with people the hope for tomorrow. The hope that God has given me.
If you requested packet work from the high school in lieu of virtual classes, those packets will be available to pick up from 11-1 on Monday. New packets will be available at the beginning of each week. If you come by and don't have a packet, we will get your name and have one ready as soon as we can. PHS and Communities in Schools will be passing out food drive and hygiene packets on Monday from 11-1. Students and families that have a need, please drive by the front of the school and look for Mrs. Hopper. Anyone looking to help donate, contact Mrs. Hopper directly.

What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend William Jewell, where I will study both Music and Pre-Medicine. I want to eventually become a surgeon.
What is your favorite memory of high school?
My favorite memory of high school is being in the band. I joined band in sixth grade and have been in it ever since. Playing in the band helped me realize that I have a passion for music, which is why I plan to study Music in college alongside my Pre-Medical studies. I also met some of my best friends in band, and got to have so many amazing experiences with them during band competitions. These are connections that I know I will have for the rest of my life.
Pierce:
Plans after graduating High School?
I plan to attend Coffeyville Community College to play basketball while majoring in Secondary Education.Because creating a safe environment for the future generation to learn, live, and think creatively is what I believe the school system needs.
Favorite memory in high school?
My favorite memory of high school was how easy it was to smile and laugh while I was there. I can’t think of a single day where I went to school and did not do either of those. The teachers and my classmates made my 4 years of highschool packed with good memories that will be cherished throughout my life. Also, thank you to everyone at Parsons High School for putting up with me!
