The time is almost here! Prom is right around the corner and for the first time since COVID, Project Prom is back. We will need all hands on deck in order to make it a fun and safe night for all involved. Please comment or send a direct message to us if you are willing to hang out with some amazing teens during Project Prom (the after-prom event), help set up, or help clean up on April 23rd. Carnegie Hall standing ovation. Music Company and alumni were amazing this weekend in New York City. There was some sightseeing involved but these young men and women put in hours of practicing in short time and performed at Carnegie Hall! Inspiring! Go Vikes!

We opened the season today in the Columbus Invitational and got 2nd as a team. Conner Barcus got 2nd in singles, Davion Holman 5th in singles, Parker Ray/Joe Cervantes 1st in doubles. Davis Clark/Antonio Aita also competed in doubles and improved in each match. Great job guys!

Journalism students conference during first period in the Parsons High School Library on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 to discuss the upcoming issue of Norseman News.

On Saturday, March 12th, the Parsons Chess team attended The State Chess Tournament in Emporia. In the K-12 division, Parsons High School was represented with 5 members. There were 122 participants in the K-12 division with 21 teams represented. Parsons High School placed 9th overall Classes with 13.5 points. In the 4A class, PHS won the 2nd place plaque! Lucas Fugate led the PHS team with 4 wins and won the 26th place medal individually. William Durflinger earned the 36th place medal with his 4 wins. Davis Clark earned the 48th place medal with 3 wins. Timmy Chen, 2.5 wins and A.J Jenkins , 1.5 wins completed the rest of the team. Nice job guys, you had a great season!!
We had a fun season and enjoyed winning many trophies and medals. Hopefully we will be able celebrate our season soon with a banquet to recognize all the kids and their accomplishments throughout the year. Thanks to PMS , PHS and the District for all their support!!





Over the break, Jett Burgess and Paxton Swanson applied their Carpentry skills to replace a deck in Oklahoma. Well done, gentlemen! Hard work, pays off!
