Mrs. Good's class played store today and had to convert mixed numbers and numbers in word form into decimals to add up the total amount of their purchase.



Students in Mrs. Gordon's class work on pairs using a strategy called "Rally Coach". One student is completing the problem while the other cheers them on or coaches them through the problem. Then, they switch roles.

Students in Mr. Holmes' and Mrs. Gordon's math intervention class got to be the teachers, today! Mr. Holmes did all of his math problems incorrectly. The students all used pens to grade his work, correct his mistakes, and give him feedback on how to improve next time!

Mr. Willis had some students ask about playing corn-hole, so he had some customs boards and bags made for his class! To say the kids were excited this morning would be an understatement! Before they could play they had to pass a measurement conversion test pertaining to the game.

Miss Jones had to wear sunglasses to teach today because her class is SO bright!





The Guthridge 4th and 5th grade music concert is fast approaching! Tuesday, March 28th at 6:30! There has been a change in venue though!
The concert will now be at the Parsons Municipal Auditorium.
It is NOT at Forest Park, but at the Municipal Auditorium.


Mrs. Good's class enjoyed ice cream sandwiches this afternoon for selling the most trash bags during the trash bag fundraiser. Thank you, PTO!
