Guthridge fourth grade would like to thank Parsons Sonic for donating mints and coupons to use during our capitalization unit! We used the word "MINTS" to help us remember what to capitalize, and students who passed all of their capitalization assignments by the end of the week earned a coupon!

While learning about shadows and time, students in Mrs. Brimm's class created a Sundial and took it outside throughout the day to tell what time it was.
Today the class got to do mystery boxes. They had to dig into the boxes with "guts", "worms", "maggots", "brains" and much more to find their question over math or ELA and answer it.

Everyone got to enjoy lunch with their teacher in the classroom today. Mrs. Shields' students enjoyed watching family friendly Disney Halloween shorts.

Students in Mrs. Brimm's class were models of the Earth while learning about Earth's rotation and revolution. They demonstrated their understanding of how the Earth rotates around the Sun.
