At the Board of Education meeting held Monday evening, the Board voted to make up one of the three snow days that we've had this year. School will now be in session on March 29th as the make-up day.
Art with Mrs. Shields in Life Skills this week was full of love for symmetry! What students painted on one side of the heart, would be the same on the other side after folding it in half! ❤️
Mrs. Shields has been happy to get to be apart of the Valentine's Day tradition to decorate Valentine's Day sacks with 4th and 5th grade!
The school-wide collaborative mural at Guthridge displays each students self-portrait as they see themselves in the future with a career they would like to pursue. Students also enjoyed working with Mrs. Shields to assemble and install the finished product.

Workout Wednesday
Today Miss Jones' class celebrated the 100th day of school! The students completed a writing activity about what their lives would be like at 100, and created a list of 100 acts of kindness as a class.
Miss Jones' class would like to thank Jazzy Palmer, Parsons High School Senior, for coming to read to the class for World Read Aloud Day. Jazzy will be pursuing a degree in elementary education at the University of Kansas following her graduation from Parsons High School.
