Danarious has earned 33 Blue Ribbons on Study Island... Wow!
Today, Mr. Holmes’ and Mrs. Gordon’s students learned that birds have unique beaks that have adapted over time to eat different foods! We used spoons, toothpicks, tweezers, clothespins, and straws as our “beaks,” and different candies represented various insects and seeds.
Mrs. Good’s class made some tasty spider treats to go with our spider story.
Students in Mr. Holmes’ classes are reading and writing about animals and their adaptations. Do you know how the cookie-cutter shark and the blobfish survive in the deep ocean?
Mrs Smith’s math groups used base 10 blocks to spell their names and then they calculated the value…Math can be fun!
After reading about spiders, students in Mr. Holmes’ classes created “main idea spiders” to show what they learned.

A desk, a marker, and the box method is all we need to solve any multiplication problem in Mrs. Stover’s class.
Mrs.Gordon’s math time is always a great time to visit…what a great group.
Hallway multiplication is a hit with Mrs. Good’s class
