5th grade Field Day was a blast for students in Mrs. Brimm's class.
The tractor was student's favorite part of Field Day!
Students in Mrs. Brimm's class loved getting to sit in the tractor at Altamont Field Day.
Mrs. Armstrong's class did mystery boxes today. These boxes included "guts", "eyeballs", "maggots" and so much more. They had to find their cards in the box that included sentences with nouns, theme and setting.

Mr. Holmes' class enjoyed participating in PSU’s Nature Reach Program on animal adaptations, today!
Mr. Holmes' class had a GREAT time at the Safari Zoological Park in Caney, today! After studying and learning about animals and their adaptations, we were able to see them "live" and "in action!"
Finishing up our unit on chemical reactions, students in Mrs. Brimm's class made an egg bouncy and then tested how big of a bounce they could get.
Students in Mrs. Brimm's class experimented with a hard egg. They stuck it in vinegar, getting rid of the hard shell, and then was able to shine a light through it, squeeze it, and even bounce it.
Mrs. Gordon's class had a fabulous time at the Safari Zoological Park in Caney!
Mrs. Good and Ms. Stover's classes spent the afternoon doing a bird beak experiment to go along with our animal adaptation unit and then decorated pumpkin cookies.
5th grade orchestra kids practiced their bow hands by doing cup relay races!
After learning and studying about animal adaptations, Mr. Holmes' students started researching an animal of their choice and creating poster projects.
Mrs. Armstrong's class used Versa Tiles to practice problem and solution and plural nouns.
Student partners were comparing their work on two different multiplication methods in Mrs. Gordon's class this morning.
Today Mrs. Gordon's class partnered up using "match up cards"! It was a fun way to partner up!
