Game on!

The past two weeks, fourth graders have been learning about different ways to help their community through our new “Wonders” reading series. One way was to clean up trash in your neighborhood. That is exactly what Mrs. Good’s class did today!! We took a little brain break and walked the blocks close to our school and picked up trash to help our environment and community. We have also learned about different ways we can volunteer in our community and that one out of four people volunteer. We are hoping to raise that statistic! Way to help your community, Vikings! Hard work pays off! Go Vikes! #randomactsofkindness

Mrs. Good’s class made Christmas paper chains to hang in the hall as a team building activity. Each team was given 30 minutes to come up with a plan and make the longest paper chain and it also had to be in a pattern. As you can see, they were so long we had to move them to the hall to measure them! Way to go, teams! #hardworkpaysoff #govikes

Mrs. Good and Miss Carnes classes made pumpkin pie in a cup. It was a tasty Thanksgiving treat!! We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Mrs. Good’s class played a friendly game of “Trashketball” to review verb tenses.
